With over 20 years of experience in Early Years education, I’m passionate about helping schools and nurseries create environments where children can thrive. My focus is on supporting leaders to raise the quality of their EYFS provision, ensuring that every child has the best possible start.

Zoe Kennell is an outstanding EYFS practitioner. Having led such a setting for many years, and being graded at outstanding in her last Ofsted she is well placed to advise and support any school in how such a setting is to be organised and developed. She strongly believes that communication and language are fundamental to every aspect of young child’s thinking and learning.
Her practice exemplifies how high quality interactions between children and adults can enhance a child’s rate of development no matter what their background. She strongly believes that it is the quality of the interactions rather than the quantity that makes the most difference.
The CPD she provides has always been highly effective. Her approach is epistemic, which makes teachers think about what they’re doing before giving them the why to try again. Experimentation without fear in a highly supportive coaching role is her strength.
Zoe can also provide expert advice for leadership teams to ensure that the EYFS setting meets with all safeguarding requirements and procedures whilst the curriculum is engineered to be ambitious.
